Tales from the Jet Set Derelict is the result of me attempting to make something as loud as humanly possible without making it completely unlistenable. I managed to achieve a dynamic range of zero and my ears weren't bleeding yet, so I called that a success. The version you hear is not that version, it has been toned down significantly from that point. Turning your volume down is still recommended.

Little did I know at the time, but this was the turning point for my music that set me down the path to where I am now - where I didn't yet know I wanted to be. That is the only reason this track escaped archival. If I still had access to the project file for this, I would remaster it.
